TeleSpeak (“the app”) is made by Audren Lavenerable. This policy explains what the app does with your data.
The short version: your scripts, your voice and your videos stay on your iPhone or iPad. TeleSpeak has no accounts and no servers, uses no analytics or advertising, and doesn’t collect, sell or share any of your data.
This data lives in the app’s storage on your device. It is included in your device’s own backups (iCloud or computer) under Apple’s terms. We can’t see it.
When you turn on Follow my voice, TeleSpeak listens through the microphone and uses Apple’s speech recognition on your device to find your place in the script. Audio and transcripts are processed on your device, used only while the session is running, and never stored or sent to us.
The first time you use it, iOS may download a speech-recognition language model from Apple. On devices that don’t support Apple’s newest speech engine, the app uses Apple’s older one, set to recognize speech on the device only.
When you turn on Record video, the front camera and microphone are used during the session. The finished video is saved to your Photos library (TeleSpeak asks only for permission to add photos, not to see them). The prompter text is never part of the recording. Videos aren’t uploaded anywhere.
When you share text or a document to TeleSpeak from another app, the item is copied into the app’s storage on your device and opened as a new script. Nothing leaves your device.
You can change any of these in the iOS Settings app at any time.
TeleSpeak Pro is sold through Apple’s App Store, as a yearly subscription or a one-time purchase. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether you own Pro.
Delete scripts in the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored on your device. Videos you recorded stay in your Photos library until you delete them there.
The app isn’t directed at children under 13, and it collects no information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
